Oil change interval can be extended using John Deere PLUS-50 or E6/E7 with specified John Deere filters: fuel sulphur level <0.1%, 375 hours with standard oil pan, 500 hours withextended drain oil pan; fuel sulphur 0.1% to 0.5%, 250 hours; fuel sulphur 0.5% to 1% 150 hours

Oil drain interval using CI-4, E4 or E5: fuel sulphur level < 0.1%, 250 hours; fuel sulphur 0.1% to 0.5%, 150 hours; fuel sulphur 0.5% to 1%, 100 hours

During engine run-in use John Deere Engine Break-in Oil. Alternatively engine oils to CE/E1/D4 may be used during the first 100 hours of engine use

Alternative recommendations, -40°C to 50°C: CI-4/E4/E5 0W-40

Alternative recommendations, -30°C to 40°C: VERATEK 5w30 / EXTREM NG 5w30

Alternative specification; low silicate ethylene glycol based coolant for heavy duty diesel engines to VERKOL TRUCK 50%TM D5345 (pre-diluted) or VERKOL TRUCK 50%TM D4985 (concentrate) plus supplemental coolant additives
